A 15-year-old boy was killed in Argentina's Jujuy province after being attacked by a group of individuals. The incident occurred over the weekend around 1:30 AM at the intersection of Pozo Cavado Street and Intersindical Avenue in the Alto Comedero neighborhood. The victim, identified as Juan Vanega, and his 13-year-old friend were leaving a graduation party at a private house when they were intercepted by a group of youths who attacked them brutally with a knife. Witnesses stated that the attack was direct and that the assailants used a bladed weapon. Vanega was stabbed multiple times and sustained numerous injuries. He attempted to escape but fell to the ground and died about 20 meters away. His friend was also injured but is out of danger. Police and prosecutors conducted an operation in the Alto Comedero neighborhood and apprehended two minors, a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, suspected of the homicide. They were taken to the Alto Comedero Investigations Brigade in the presence of their parents. The case has been referred to the Juvenile Court.
